We are privileged and delighted to be collaborating once again with the Senior Pictures Team at Channel 4 Leeds.
C4 picture commissioners & editors will be in residence at the festival’s vibrant Live Lounge for drop in portfolio reviews on Friday 11 April.
The team will be in attendance across the rest of the festival to meet, chat & discuss all things Channel 4.

Fistful of Books produce short run photography zines and books. The photo zines are meticulously printed and assembled by proprietor Simon Robinson, signed copies of books available along with zines by many eclectic and outstanding photographers.

Marc Wilson
We are delighted to welcome photographer and friend of the festival Marc Wilson to our Live Lounge where Marc will be signing / selling books and prints. His images document the memories, histories and stories that are set in the landscapes that surround us. Marc works on long term documentary projects, including The Last Stand’(2010-2014), A Wounded Landscape - bearing witness to the Holocaust (2015-2021) and his recently completed work on Ukraine; The Land is Yellow, the Sky is Blue (2021-2023).

Rachel Brewster-Wright is an analogue film photography & darkroom educator. She runs Little Vintage Photography Darkroom & Studio where she delivers workshops, experiences and masterclasses teaching lifelong skills in how to 'Shoot, Process & Print'.
She has also worked as the ILFORD Darkroom Educator having created and presented several series of darkroom videos that explore the magic of darkroom printing.
Rachel will be attending the festival and will share her skills with you

FOR SCHOOLS
Portrait photographer Tom Oldham is helping to support underfunded art departments by collecting and distributing much-needed creative books to state schools across the UK.
With your help, Tom has managed to provide 14 state schools with a new photobook library totally over 4K books, plus lighting kits, 20+ Sony cameras and lots of kit demos and presentations
HOW TO DONATE. You can donate your creative books or equipment to the project. Bring them along to Photo North Festival and look for Tom in our Live Lounge, OR drop off at our friends Village Books in Thornton’s Arcade, Leeds.
Every book donated goes directly towards programs to inspire student photographers.
